• Education, Empowerment & Mentors

When seeking to strengthen and uplift a community, it is often necessary to educate that community on its place in the socioeconomic arena. To shine a light on the cause and affect of their circumstance, and educate a means of affecting positive change to their circumstance. It is the old adage, "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime."

There must be an educational component to any community, if that community is going to thrive.

Likened to education, knowledge is power, but it can only become wisdom when applied to ones life. Having knowledge of an available resource, and making use of an available resource are two different things. Our goal to empower communities is rooted in our efficacy to provide the resource and assist in its life application, to shift the weight on the scale of socioeconomic disparities.

It can't be called community, if it doesn't affect the economy.

Hope is an essential element to any community. Nothing thrives in hopelessness. The most uplifting chords ring out hopes of better tomorrows. When we AEffect.Change in the individual lives of people of a community, it rings outs hope of rising above their circumstance. Be it homelessness, unemployment, underemployed, or an inability to see a way clear of a given situation, every small step up is an elevation.

Our victories are measured in inches.
